Tip#7 for Today
Do you feel guilty or uncomfortable about taking a coffee or lunch break? Many of the people I work with struggle to slow down, relax and take breaks. And are exhausted!
We can get so used to running on high power all the time, living in fight or flight, that slowing down feels unnatural. Can anyone relate?
Add to that the fear of judgement from anyone who ‘never takes a break’ and you’re really under pressure to stay in the ‘busyness’!
I used to find is so hard to slow down, even sit still but I remind myself everyday that it is ok to give myself permission to go at my own pace.
The tip for today is one I’ve fully embraced. Give yourself permission to go at your own pace. When you practice slowing down and witness with clarity, intuition and wisdom improve.
